Whats More Cheesy

When you think of someone using a VHS tape of a fire to replace the real thing, you think that is so cheap and cheesy? Well what about making a fireplace mantel out of cardboard is that on the same level or is it entirely new? I am a dork but it really pulls the room together and it brings a real warmth to the home. The homeless people living under the freeway would be so jealous that they didn't think of this first.

Bright lights

A county park does this holiday light drive through illumination spectacular for $10. We had Alicia and Max standing out the sunroof between Eric while we drove through. They had so much fun. there was Santa, Jewish Rabbi, dinosaurs, and monster crabs. They pretty much covered every religion, Christian to Scientology and crabby priests. A traditional South Carolina Christmas Tree.

Training Day

We had a training day here on Charleston AFB to test our ability to get x amount of aircraft off the ground. While the pilots boast about their ability to fly so low and drop so much cargo to the troops in need. People really should think about what it took to get the aircraft in the air, 48 hours prior to take off, inspections, fuel, oxygen, critical repairs, replacing a leading edge of a wing, just effort of hard working maintainers to make the pilots boast. Like they say it takes a village to raise a single child. now I am thinking of Gary Larsons comics of airplane humor so I will stop now. The picture of friends. Max the Block Builder

Can He Build YES he can!! Max has been building ever since his birthday. He loves building the impossible. My favorite is the X-wing that he built with out looking at anything just from memory. After he built it he kept saying "StarWars StarWars StarWars". Also Haruka and I have jumped in and played games. like the tower toppler( who destroies the tower).

We are BFFs

Haruka is on the Keys, Max is guitar, Kipp is playin the drums, but we are able to change instruments seamlessly, watch never miss a beat.

Wrestling 101

Heres some propoganda for the moyer boys on practicing our wrestling moves, at least were not all talk. Its kinda like Rocky when he is working out in the Russian mountains. They knew what he is doing from the Mercedes KGB while Rocky didn't know from top of the mountain or his dusty barn what the Russian guy Vladimir Putin is up to in his 80's montage.

Thanksgiving Day

Max, Haruka and I planned on having our own little Thanksgiving day, with a small chicken. While Haruka was cooking some stuff (I made the cranberry sauce naturally) I made a wreath out of the surrounding plants and trees. Max took lots pictures of us.

This is Alicia our friends oldest daughter, She is great because of her strong independence of doing everything herself, and adventurous, hopefully some of it will rub off onto Max. anyway they are great friends

The consignment shop that keeps on giving

This was another wonderful thing Haruka bought for 10 dollars that came with a helmet and training wheels. We were impressed how fast Max figured out the pedal brake, but after a quick ride over to Leslie's house and he didn't want to stop. He fell twice, cried twice but he kept on riding like it was going out of style, and yes haruka had her family watch as he made is first pedals into fame. But I have to say its not as impressive as catching and killing a skunk for FHE.

I am very proud of Haruka for getting braces, she was very apprehensive because it would hurt for the two years that she has them on. but already her teeth have been moving. also she had some teeth pulled. Grandma (Baa Baa Chan) said that she need to keep them (not to have them pulled) because she would need them for later.

Leslie our next door neighbor found a tub of wood rails at a garage sale and bought it for $1.00 one hour later it was built and destroyed in ten minutes.

Altus Oklahoma!!!!!

So, during work my Capt gets a call and then realizes he only has two hours to do what ever. He calls me up and asked Lt Williams can you get packed and ready to go in two hours? I said yes, rushed home ate lunch with Haruka and Max, packed my military cloths and took off at 3pm on a C-17 to stand alert for hurricane efforts when Ike hits. We First landed down at McDill AFB Florida picked up some medical supplies and military doctors and staff. then landed at Orpus Cristy TX and finally at Altus AFB Oklahoma were the wind goes sweaping down the plain. The best part is our 3 jets are perfect working order and we don't have to do much maintenance to them just prep and wait for the alert.
