Rainy
she is a Staffordshire terrier mix pitbull of something but she is really sweet little thing. Named her Rainy cause she had this sad face and was just like a rain-cloud. and it was raining really hard when we adopted her.

Washington DC
Haruka Max and I went to DC to hang with Kevin before he and max started school. of course we did all the tourist stuff but the real reason I made the journey to DC is for the Restoring Honor Rally 2010 (like it wasn't the first time) I never thought we lost our honor in the first place. but deep down I realized the real reason is I wanted to be winked at by Sarah Palin. Oh by the way that was a joke and i wouldn't be caught dead sipping tea out of the reflection pool. Nasty beaver fever. While Haruka and Rachel spent $20s like quarters in Georgetown. Kevin, Max and I spent the day at the Smithsonian Air & Space museum. 15 dollars for parking but free admission. Max was happier than a multi nuclear warhead on its way to deliver peace. we were able to see the SR-71 the pinnacle of aviation (hint flew from LA to London England in 3 hours 46 min and reached speeds exceeding 2,187 miles per hour). almost 3x faster than the Concord which was there too. the Space and missile section was phenomenal. The large round object is one of 5 rocket boosters used together to propel astronauts through the earths atmosphere on a mission to the moon. being in the MX career I was a little disappointed in lack of details and information posted by the airplanes. but absolutely amazing with all the stuff. pictures coming soon.

Max and stuff
Bicycle-17
Kevin got wild and said that "we" should build a single/fixie bicycle. We came to a conclusion that we would build the bike from frame up. Next was the design and being Air Force Mx (Mx = Maintenance) we thought it would be appropriate to go with our very own Charleston C-17 motif. first was to find a good deal on a old frame. My frame came from Josh of Savannah GA who refurbishes old school bikes on the side. Kevins came from Roy of downtown Charleston SC that flips houses and has a wide display of ornaments on his face. Anyway good deals. Frames were stripped and powder-coated flat grey. and during this whole process we ordered many parts that would maximize our theme. bought two volk wheel sets off of craigslist, not even used. A little spray paint, decals, mistakes and re-orders through the world wide web, finally through the southern humidity our bikes are finished (month and a half later). They are sweet rides....still waiting on brakes

Last minute bummer
So the trip across japan fell through but I was able to climb a mountain close to the Sato's house with Hideo (Haruka's Father). We planned it out I got some cheap gear. well We made it to the top and made some romen but forgot to bring some chopsticks but we improvised and made them out of bambo. our hands were so numb that I just put the cup to my face and pushed the food in. Now I got to hike Mt Adams with Lydia, twist my arm will ya gezz.
My Friends in Japan.
Shogo and Tsukimori (with guitar), these guys are crazy, funny, and I always look forward seeing them when I go to japan. We always play pranks and jokes on each other, interfering when the other is on a date by wearing silly masks and acting totally stupid infront of the girlfriend (which comes naturally for me) but always turning any situation fun. We always go to our favorite restaurant 'shanti' tucked away from most travelers and on the waterfront, really classy. I Promised i would bring my sax to shanti when they finish thier downstairs live room and put on a show. I hope I see them soon.
